History[1]Edit[]

The full story of Mazda's adventures.

Beginings[2]Edit[]

The story of Mazda and his friends begins with a mesterious war which began two thousand years ago. The causes were unknown, and the sides were never delved into, but there was a third side which shaped the future of Ookamoni the Wolf. His sister, Lorelei founded a third side in the war, created to bring about peace. But when one of the armies tried to destroy Lorelei's force for peace, she was killed. This feuled Ookamoni with so much rage that he became a demon and destroyed both sides to avenge Lorelei.

Meanwhile, a young hedgehog, Luke, was exploring the world with his merchant father. However on one of their stops, the town was burned to the ground and all were killed, including himself. But instead of truly dieing, he was spirited away to a group of dieties. These dieties revealed that because the war was taking away their strength, they sent one of their own to stop the fighting: Luke. He then decided to split himself into many "pieces", clones of himself with their own souls and lives, that could keep the peace while he gathered his strength again.

One such piece, Mazda, found his way into the Angels, a society devoted to keeping peace and order in the universe.

Two thousand years later[3]Edit[]

Two thousand years later, Alice Maeda was being sent to Mobius by fearful leaders on Exstasia. Exstasia was once a sister planet to Mobius, but left to another dimension after the meteor that created the Mobians struck. Alice was a very special girl, able to create a limitless supply of Chaos from her own heart, without any mechanisms like Chaos Emeralds. But the Exsasians, fearful that her power could tear their society apart, sent her to Mobius where she could never damage their society.

In Shamar a few years later, Ray Takiyama watched Ookamoni kill his parents and two sisters in their own home. Ookamoni, who was searching for the Eternity Scroll, let Ray live only long enough to give him the scroll.

Mazda would spend his years working for the Angels, sealing demons and stopping fights. Among these adventures was his meeting with Ookamoni, who became his arch enemy. He eventually met Alice and Ray while hunting for Ookamoni. Realizing they were in danger, he decided to protect them and became their good friends. However as time went on, Mazda became infected by the one poison that kills all eternal beings: boredom. In the roleplay Mazda's Union, it was revealed to everyone that Mazda was the last piece of Luke the Hedgehog. Mazda, being the good person he was, accepted his fate after stating hew "would not deny another creature the right to exist". Lorelei the Wolf then took him to the nameless world that binded each piece of Luke. After saying his good-byes, Mazda fused with Luke, disappearing and becoming a true Angel.

Testing Frienship[4]Edit[]

Six months after Mazda died, Alice and Ray went on living with Lorelei and Luke, though Alice starts thinking about her family on Exstasia and what her life might have been. Soon Ba'al arrives at their door and tells them about an anonymous tip he'd gotten. He'd recently been investigating the muders of dozens of Angels, all of whom had lost their Cores (the source of their power). He then reveals they were killed by Ookamoni, and Luke (once again persuaded by Lorelei) decides they need to stop him. Alice suggests they find her teacher, Elizabeth, to find Ookamoni.

They take a ship from Apotos, but along the way, Ookamoni attacks them. In an attempt to protect everyone, Ray's hit with one of the angel cores, which causes an intense pain to run through him. Alice goes to help him, but for some reason starts hearing Ookamoni speaking randomly in her head. Ookamoni then leaves, pleased with him work. A few hours later, Ray emerges from the ship's cabin as a demon, corrupted by the Core.

Ray starts mastering his powers durring the trip. He'd been given greater strength and speed, the ability to fly, and he couls even use darkness. Alice isn't happy though, for Ray's training keeps him distant. That night, she recieves more messages from Ookamoni, telling her it was the Angels who took her from Exstasia and her family.

Once they arrive in Chun-nan, Alice goes to see Elizabeth, leaving everyone on their own. Durring this time, Ray goes to the bamboo forest, where he starts seeing Dunyazaad, one of this desceased sister. Although he chases after her, she vanishes and he finds himself back in town. Back with Alice, Elizabeth tells her she has no idea where Ookamoni might be. Disappointed, Alice goes back to the docks, where Ray tells her about his sister. Luke overhears, and taking it as a sign decides they should try going to Shamar next, where his sisters were buried.

On the way, everyone starts to see Ray changing more and more into a demon, but try ignoring it. Alice also starts hearing more voices, to the point where she thinks she's gone insane. A little while after they reach the Shamarian continent, Ookamoni attacks again. He once again defeats Ray, and starts talking to Alice. Convincing her that Angels really did take her from her home, she submits to Ookamoni so she can destroy the Angels. With this, her darkness takes over and she summons her furniture, the Himawari, to destroy the nearest Angel, Ray.

The girls easilly overpower him, and as rain begins to fall over the forest Alice states that Ray is dead and the thing at her feet is in her mind a demon. They leave, and Luke takes everyone to Shamar. Ray's condition is getting worse, as he can no longer speak and has to walk on all fours. He also keeps seeing Dunyazaad and Morgiana, and starts to question his sanity too.

Shamar[5]Edit[]

In the abandoned palace, Ray goes to his sisters' graves. He puched through the walls, and slowly lowered their stone coffins to the ground. But once he opened them, their bodies were gone. All that remained were two pieces of a necklace, which when put together led the way to a temple by the sea. Dunyazaad and Morgiana also reveal themselves. They explain to everyone that when they died they became Dividers, special Angels closest to Celestial. The girls also go on to tell that the Cores in each Angel aren't pur light or darkness, but both. Because Ray was actually trying to take revenge on Ookamoni for killing his family, the Core enhanced the darkness in him, turning him into a Demon. With that, they take everyone to the temple by the sea so they can defeat Ookamoni.

At the ruins, they find Ookamoni and Alice. They aren't interested in fighting, but instead use their powers to raise the Underworld, a massive underground city where all demons captured by the Angels were kept prisoner. They try to stop him, but Alice and the Himawari get in their way, allowing the Underworld to burst through the Mobian Crust and the waves. Ookamoni reveals that he used the power of the Cores of the Angels he killed to become the Czar of the Underworld. After that he built thousands of weapons around the city to create a weapon that would conquer Mobius, an attempt at impressing Lorelei by "giving her the world". Ookamoni flees to the city and everyone follows him.

Before they could enter his palace, everyone had to fight Alice. They took down all the Himawari, but Alice still defeated all of them. As she gloated over him, Ray asked his sisters to save him. Suddenly, the two appear from behind Alice and step between her and Ray. She then remembers all the times she had with her friends, which unlocks her true power as the Witch of Memories. To make up for her deeds, she went with them to Ookamoi in the throne room.

When Ookamoni took in enough Cores, he reached a level of power equivalent to the Dividers. With this power, he revived Mazda as his puppet as an insult to Alice and Ray. After a long battle, Ray used Alice's powers over memories to unlock and control the Core in him, turning him into an Angel. With his new power, he defeated and freed Mazda. However, because Mazda couldn't use the form of a Hedgehog (since he would no longer be tied to Luke) the engraving on his Core, a proud Lion, became his new form. With his power, he defeated Ookamoni, releasing the Cores he stole and creating new Angels.

He then returned home, much to the happiness of this friends and aquaintances. Though because he was resurrected close enough to the same time Ookamoni lost the Cores, he became the fourth Divider.

Erika, a new foe[6]Edit[]

A few months later, Mazda noticed that Ookamoni hadn't been seen or heard from. Before the Angels could start a formal investigation, a young detective known as Erika the Fox dropped him a tip that Ookamoni was on the other side of the world, plotting to destroy the Angels by summoning a creature known as the Impetus. Although the others are confused, Mazda explains that Impetus was a dark creature that fed off Chaos. Deemed a danger to Mobius, it was sealed in an empty dimension several millenea ago by the Angels. Although he doubts Ookamoni would use Impetus, he realizes the threat is too great to risk and goes on anyway.

Their adventure takes them between both Exstasia and Mobius, where they meet Christine Delacrux, the Empress of the World]] as well as The Secretary of G.U.N. Along the way, they also have to fight several strange characters. He easilly reaches the place Erika mentions, but finds that she had Ookamoni prisoner and that those figures they fought were actually her Furniture. Instead, Erika was using Ookamoni's power to summon Impetus, commenting that they'll know why in a little while. Mazda fights her, and frees Ookamoni, but even though they defeat her, they can't figure out a way to destroy Impetus. Ray then reveals that if they combine their powers, Amvaj the Embodiment, the World Spirit, can destroy it and restore unity. The plan works, but a strange figure walks in, just as they're about to celebrate...

The Final Battle[7]Edit[]

Christine Delacrux shows up and paralizes everyone. She draws out Erika's Core and feeds it to her, giving her powers and abilities to combat Mazda. When they demand what's going on, Christine reveals she is the Empress of Exsasia and the Secretary. Christine was trying to recreate the events of 2000 years ago, where a massive war was fought for control of the World Well, the portal to other dimmensions. In order to do this, Ookamoni had to enrage the Angels enough that they would turn not only against him, but against every other organization (such as the Eggman Empire or G.U.N.) and try to control Mobius. She goes on further to reveal that she goes from world to world, destroying them to create a path to the Perfect World, which she plans to conquer and rule. But in order to do that, she has to kill Amvaj, who couldn't have been summoned without Erika releasing Impetus.

Ookamoni, enraged that she used his emotions and Lorelei's death to manipulate him, breaks free and battles her. He tells them to take Amvaj and head to Exstasia and he'll catch up. But as everyone gets in the portal, Lorelei watrches as Christine stabs Ookamoni, killing, yet at the same time, releasing him. As she yells his real name, Marcus, he feels relieved that he could die as her brother.

On Exstasia, things aren't going as well. A war between families is being fought too, threatening to destroy the world. Mazda then realizes that the only way to open the path to the Perfect World is for both worlds to die at the same time. Bewcause Mobius and Exstasia are in different dimmensions, they're still connected. He asks Lorelei to take them to the World Well so they can confront Christine.

The Planetary Temple[8]Edit[]

She takes them to the tallest mountain on Exstasia, where Erika is waiting to stop him. After a long battle, Erika is stabbed and left to die. Lorelei then opens the portal, however they realize Amvaj is weakening. The wars are taking up massive amounts of Chaos, draining Amvaj of power, which will slowly kill him and both worlds. They pass through, and meet Christine on an island floating above both planets which is in fact the Planetary Temple the gate to the Gaiaverse.

She tries to explain how the events repeat themselves, how everytime heroes show up to stop her they die at her hands. But she applauds their determination, and offers that they live with her once she finishes conquering the Perfect World. But they refuse, and a great fight breaks out. It's difficult. Neither Mazda, Luke, Alice, or Ray can seem to get past her magic. However they do get past her, and the do weaken her. But in a desperate move, she reveals that Marcus is alive, and being kept her her hostage. If anyone moves her her, she'll kill him for real, but Lorelei, who remembered her brother's sacrifice, momentarilly gives up her pacifist way and phazes through Christine.

She looses all feeling, and stumbles through the gateway behind her into the Gaiaverse. Here, on the brink of death, she tries to recal her original world, the one she lost. With every world she'd been to, Christine forgot her own and abandoned it. But for a moment, as she recall's it's name, sge falls into the lake that represented the Perfect World. Although she finally reached it, she died the moment she hit the water. Christine slowly drifted to the bottom, where she withered and desintegrated in the pure water.

However, the beads she kept, which were actually seeds for Worlds, floated on the surface. Amvaj, now healed with the worlds saved, asked Mazda and the others to busy the seeds down the mountain. Once they did this, new pools sprouted and flowed down the mountain, replacing the universes Christine destroyed with new ones. Mazda and Marcus then went back to the Mobius fountain, and with everyone else had countless adventures on Mobius for many, many years to come.

Two worlds[9]Edit[]

Much of the story has to do with Exstasia and Moibius, which were once a Double Planet. The separation of Exstasia is perhaps the biggest event in the continuity.

Mobius[10]Edit[]

The same Mobius the Sonic games take place in (or at least one very similar) is where most of the adventure takes place. Not much of it's history is explored, however the Great War is mentioned several times (though the reasons for it's outbreak aren't explained untilo Christine appears).

The society is driven by Chaos, the equivalent of Mana or Life-force on Mobius. The Chaos, which has been harnessed in the form of eitrher solid, liquid, or a gaseous substance, is used to power everything from cities to appliances to warships and toys. The two planets were also originaly connected by portals driven by Chaos, some of which still exist in ruins(rockets and spacecraft had yet to be invented). This dependence on Chaos was streamed from Mobius taking a greater share of Chaos when Exstasia left to another dimension.

Unfortunately the modern means of converying Chaos to energy was extremely inefficient. The event almost resulted in the destruction of Mobius and the death of all it's life-forms. However the catastrophe brought to light Alice's ability to create pure Chaos. With her abilities, she gave Mobius new Chaos and restored peace.

Exstasia[11]Edit[]

The second, smaller planet in the system is Exstasia. Once again, it's history is barely explored, though the Mayor of it's second largest city, Hikariae, explains that the Exstasians had more advanced technology than the Mobians, allowing them to transport themselves to a nearby dimension when a large Comet threatened the planet. This Comet would instead crash on Mobius, creating the Mobians.

Exstasia is driven by more ecologically friendly means of power. Because the planet lacks much Chaos, very little plant-life grows and the terrain is mostly rocky. However this allowed them to explore alternative means of power. When Ray, Alice, and their friends first arrive here, the cities are powered entirely by the Sun, water, and wind. Although the people live more primitive lives reminiscent of the 16th to 19th centuries, their cities are much larger than those on Mobius.

Sadly, Chaos is a destructive element on Exstasia. Because it's in such short supply, the Monarchy banned it's use and distribution with severe punishments to lawbreakers. This ban resulted in a Black Market of sort, specializing in only the transport and harvesting of Chaos. Because of Alice's power, the Monarchy sent her to Mobius to keep her powers from destroying their society.
